Vacancy Accounts Officer

Join our team as an Accounts Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting our finance department. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a strong desire to contribute to our organization's success.

Job Summary

In line with our expansion plans, we are looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Officer to join our ever- growing team. You will typically handle basic accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and reconciling financial records.

Responsibilities
  • - Assist in all bookkeeping functions, including bank reconciliations, posting of invoices, and maintaining accounts receivable/payables.
  • - Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, collaborating with vendors and preparing vendor reconciliations.
  • - Handle detailed reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • - Prepare and process payments to suppliers, ensuring transparent and efficient financial transactions.
  • - Assist in the monthly client billing process, issuing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • - Liaise with Auditors, Tax and VAT Department, and MBR.
  • - Assist with month-end related tasks, such as reconciliations and VAT calculations.
  • - Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing documents and maintaining records of financial data.
  • - Manage emails related to financial matters and input bank entries.
  • - Assist with payroll and create financial statements and reports as required.
  • - Input bank entries and perform bank reconciliations.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and skills
  • - Minimum A Level Standard in Accounting.
  • - Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • - Familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • - Knowledge of accounting software will be considered an asset (e.g., Sage, SAP).
  • - Highly IT literate with strong Excel skills.
  • - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • - Able to work full-time during office hours, Monday to Friday.

We're seeking a dedicated Projects Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing our client’s portfolios while ensuring seamless project delivery.

Job Summary:

As a Projects Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our projects team, collaborating closely with clients, internal stakeholders and global regulators to oversee the planning, execution, and follow-up of various tasks related to our business in the Water and Energy logistics. You will typically handle tasks such as the administration and coordination of ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan, execute, and follow up on administrative tasks, including managing invoices, handling purchase orders and maintaining inventory reports.
  • Support the coordination of the project procurement process.
  • Communicate with project clients to assess their needs, define project requirements, acceptance criteria and project timelines.
  • Support the coordination of the allocated project resources.
  • Coordinate tasks between team members and assist in the understanding of expectations regarding project milestones and deliverables
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and project clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Assist project managers and the Chief Operations Officer in monitoring project progress and team members performance.
  • Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including scheduling stakeholder meetings and generate reports.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
